Tarah
Place
Tarah (also Terah) was an Israelite wilderness campsite listed in the Exodus itinerary of Numbers 33:27–28, between Tahath and Mithcah. It should not be confused with Terah the patriarch, father of Abraham. The site has not been identified; most of the encampments in this section of Numbers 33 remain unlocated. It represents one of the many stages in the forty-year journey through the Sinai wilderness and appears only in this travel record.
