Temeni

Temeni was a son of Ashhur, the posthumous son of Hezron who founded Tekoa, listed in the genealogy of the tribe of Judah (1 Chr. 4:6). He is one of the children born to Ashhur's wife Naarah. Beyond his place in the genealogical record, Temeni plays no narrative role in Scripture. The name may mean "southerner" or relate to Teman (south).
