Thahash

Thahash, whose name means that makes haste or that keeps silence, was a son of Nahor, Abraham's brother, born to his concubine Reumah (Gen. 22:24). He is mentioned only in the genealogical list connecting Abraham's extended Mesopotamian family.

His inclusion in the Table of Nations context helps establish the broader family network from which Abraham descended and from which Rebekah, Laban, Rachel, and Leah would later come. No individual narrative is attached to Thahash beyond his genealogical listing.
