Zabbud

Zabbud was the son of Bigvai, one of those who returned from Babylonian exile to Jerusalem with Ezra in the second return (Ezra 8:14). He and Uthai led a group of 70 males from the family of Bigvai. The name means given or endowed — a variant of Zabad. He is otherwise unknown in the biblical narrative.
