Zabdi

Zabdi is the name of four biblical individuals. (1.) An ancestor of Achan who hid the accursed spoil of Jericho (Joshua 7:1, 17–18). He is called Zimri in 1 Chronicles 2:6. (2.) A Benjamite (1 Chronicles 8:19). (3.) A Levite, overseer of the wine cellars under David (1 Chronicles 27:27). (4.) A Levite who offered a prayer at the dedication of Jerusalem's walls under Nehemiah (Nehemiah 11:17), called Zichri in 1 Chronicles 9:15. The name means my gift or the LORD is my endowment.
