Zalmunna

Zalmunna was one of the two kings of Midian (along with Zebah) whom Gideon defeated and captured after the great rout at the spring of Harod (Judges 8:4–21). After the main Midianite army was routed, Gideon pursued the retreating kings across the Jordan with his 300 exhausted men. He asked the men of Succoth and Peniel for provisions, and when they refused to help, he threatened and later executed judgment on them. Capturing Zebah and Zalmunna at Karkor, Gideon returned and killed them himself to avenge his brothers slain at Tabor. Psalm 83:11 invokes the defeat of Zalmunna as a model for God's future judgment on Israel's enemies: make their nobles like Zebah and Zalmunna.
