Zibia

Zibia was a son of Shaharaim by his wife Hodesh, listed in the Benjamite genealogy of 1 Chronicles 8:9. Shaharaim had sent away two previous wives, Hushim and Baara, before fathering children with Hodesh in Moab. Zibia is listed among Shaharaim's sons in Moab, representing a branch of the tribe of Benjamin with Moabite connections. He appears only in this genealogical list and plays no further role in the biblical narrative. The name means gazelle. He should be distinguished from Zibiah the mother of King Joash, who begins Z2.
