Ziddim

Ziddim (meaning: huntings; treasons; destructions) was a fortified city in the tribal territory of Naphtali, listed among the towns allotted to that tribe in Joshua 19:35. Easton's dictionary tentatively identifies it with Kefr-Hattin — the "village of the Hittites" — located approximately five miles west of Tiberias on the western ridge overlooking the Sea of Galilee.

The site lies in the fertile lower Galilee region. Beyond the single reference in Joshua's allotment list, Ziddim appears nowhere else in Scripture, and its identification with Kefr-Hattin remains uncertain. The area around Tiberias was heavily settled in the Old Testament period as part of the heartland of Naphtali.
